Volunteering can be as much about self development as it is about helping others. There are regular courses by the providers below that could compliment your volunteering role or help you reach you goals. Below are links providers offering training for both professionals and volunteers.  

Southern Brooks Community Development Partnership - Courses are avalible for a range of learners and interests. From Yoga to Food Hygiene there is something for everyone.

CVS South Glos - Professional skills and information on running groups.  A range of workshops and training sessions, covering governance, financial management, sustainable funding, commissioning, good management skills, legal responsibilities and personal development for staff, trustees and volunteers.

South Glos Community Learning - Course to improve English, Math, IT and employability skills. Course are mostly held at local libraries.

Communty Volunteering Qualification with City of Bristol College.
This course provides a means to recognise and accredit voluntary and community activities. For organisations who use volunteers, it can aid the recruitment and retention of volunteers, as well as rewarding their contribution. For individual volunteers, the course enables a good understanding of professionalism and the benefits volunteering can bring.
